Welcome to Cafe Martha, a charming café nestled within the inviting ambiance of the Schulz Hotel Berlin Wall. Located at Stralauer Pl. 36, 10243 Berlin, this hidden gem is open to the public, making it an ideal spot for both hotel guests and locals alike. With a friendly phone number for inquiries at +49 30 214801529, you can easily reach out to discover more about this delightful café.

As you step inside Cafe Martha, you will find a warm and modern decor that reflects its contemporary Berlin aesthetic. While it predominantly features indoor seating, the atmosphere exudes a relaxed vibe perfect for unwinding with a rich cup of coffee or enjoying a delectable pastry. However, some guests have noted a slight lack of atmosphere, particularly on lively days, possibly due to its positioning in the hotel’s reception area.

The café prides itself on serving superb coffee, which can be enjoyed with a range of delicious offerings. Be sure to try the cinnamon croissant – a customer favorite described as fresh and utterly delightful. Others have praised the well-crafted coffee and hot chocolate, making it the perfect stop for anyone wanting to indulge their sweet tooth or caffeine cravings. Their delightful selection of pastries and snacks are sure to tempt any palate, with options like carrot cake and healthy sandwiches featuring hummus and grilled vegetables.

Customer experiences at Cafe Martha reveal a strong sense of satisfaction with their offerings. For instance, Gareth Norman describes the coffee as "superb" and encourages visitors to indulge in the pastries, highlighting the culinary delights available. Meanwhile, Rebecca Farrugia emphasizes the excellent service and great ambiance during her visit, recommending the café to those exploring nearby attractions like the East Berlin Gallery.

However, like any place, it's not without its minor flaws. Stephanie Drew's experience reminded us that even the best cafés can have their off days, as she encountered a less-than-welcoming attitude shortly before closing time. Nevertheless, she found joy in a delicious coffee and a slice of cake - a testament to the café's commitment to quality despite the occasional hiccup.

While Cafe Martha has its quirks, the consensus among guests is clear: it's worth a visit for anyone in the area. Whether you’re taking a break from exploring the rich history of the Berlin Wall or simply looking for a cozy space to recharge, this café delivers with good food and friendly service. Make Cafe Martha a noteworthy stop on your Berlin itinerary – you might just discover your new favorite haunt!

Great little cafe in the reception of the hotel, open to the public. Only seating inside which was a pity on a warm spring day. Coffee was superb a little too hot but that was a minor detail. Pastry was fresh and delicious. Have the cinnamon croissant! Good range of other food and drinks. Only down side is that the coffee shop just lacks atmosphere. Decor is great but it still feels like you are in the hotel reception.

Delicious coffee and hot chocolate! The service was excellent and the ambiance was amazing. We stopped on out way to the East Berlin Gallery and we weren't disappointed ... The sweet treats did look extremely scrumptious too ... Highly recommend!!

I entered the coffee shop around 3.40 and the staff seemed annoyed to see me though the place closes at 4pm. That aside, I took a coffee and a slice of carrot cake. Both were delish. I paid around 8€ which is in line with Berlin prices.

A beautiful friendly place near the Berlin Wall. Not a tourist trap. Very good coffee and a friendly service. If you want to eat the food is solid. Not the 5 ⭐, but affordable and ok.

Nice place. Little bit too much inside of the hotel, passing to sit with a coffee I need to be careful with guests entering for the breakfast... High prices. But good sandwich (hummus and grilled vege)... Espresso.... Could be better... Portugal pastries.

Aircondition is very good! we lived there four nights, and we didnt experienced any cleaner changing towels. but kind of good if you want privacy. just ask reception for things you need and they get it for you. Hotell is very close to Ostbahnhof, you have acces to several foodshop, mcdonalds and parking nearby cost 6 Eur per night. i will recommend to park on top of the parking.
